I’ve never been much impressed by the Daleks. Of all the monsters the Doctor’s faced, I don’t understand why they kept being reused.
This year it’s been 40 years since he has died but still I have a serious crush on Roger Delgado.

I prefer target novelisations to serials.

I’ve never found Ghostlight more confusing than any other story. I’m not sure if this means that I’m quite clever and figured it out, or quite dumb and missed the point entirely.
When I was three, I saw Remembrance of the Daleks for the first time. It was my first Doctor Who serial of any kind and I remember being utterly terrified by the cliffhanger with the dalek going up the stairs. I was less surprised when i saw it two years later in the modern show thanks to that.

I wish there was more cross over fanfiction for Nu Who and Classic Who. I would give anything to see River Song have adventures with Six, Four, or One.

The War Games breaks my heart every time I watch it.
I’ve only seen the first three Classic Who serials so far, but I am working though, and I am so glad I started watching the old series.
I want to be more sympathetic to Adric because I know he’s young and still pretty immature, but on the other hand, I know kids who remind me a lot of him in real life, and they’re the kids I don’t get on with because they just annoy me.

Whenever I watch something from the Patrick Troughton era, I get sad and tear-up, usually ending up crying, mainly because a lot of his episodes are lost and may never be found, especially Planet of the Daleks and The Highlanders, and partly because I can only imagine Patrick’s face and how he must have felt when and/or if he found out they were lost!
